Surgery postponed :(

@_@
Something about wanting a specialist to assist him in the surgery? I'm not really sure what's going on here, but my new surgery date is on October first.  On top of that, the scheduling lady is leaving the country tomorrow (again?) and wont be able to get back to me with a definite time and place until she gets back, but someone else in the office might be able to help in the meantime?

Needless to say, I will be taking my second opinion appointment a lot more seriously, now that I'm not scheduled for surgery the day after.  Is it normal for a surgeon to decide not to operate unless he gets a specific assistant?

I'm angry, and in pain; not a good combination.  My knee functionality has been way down since the second dislocation this summer, even after the cortisol injection he did a few weeks ago.  Not being in physical therapy is definitely taking it's toll; I can feel a difference in the way I move and walk already.  I never used to get shooting pain down the inside of my knee while I was going to PT, or the throbbing at the top of my shins.  I'm going to try taking a swimming class at the gym next week and see if my knee does well in the water.  I started doing the pt exercises that don't hurt my knee more than it's already hurting, which there are only 2 right now.  Hopefully I can add more back in before surgery.

There's nothing I can really do at this point besides try and get through the next 26 days as comfortably as possible...  Apologies to those around me; I'm trying to keep my chin up, but I may not be the best company for a while.
